Silicon Carbide Products

Silicon Carbide - Black

Black silicon carbide is brittle and sharp. It has good electrical and heat conductivity with Knoop hardness of 3100-3280 kg/mm².

Black silicon carbide is commonly used in bonded and coated abrasives for grinding metal and non-metallic materials of relatively low tensile strength such as grey cast iron, brass, aluminum, stone, leather, and rubber.

• Grit Range: 6-1200 | Hardness: 3100-3280 kg/mm²
Applications: Cast iron, brass, aluminum, stone

Silicon Carbide - Green

Green silicon carbide is brittle and sharp with excellent electrical and heat conductivity. Knoop hardness is 3100-3280 kg/mm².

Ideal for precision grinding of hard and brittle materials requiring high-purity abrasives, such as carbides, ceramics, and glass.

• Grit Range: 10-1200 | Hardness: 3100-3280 kg/mm²
• Applications: Precision grinding, ceramics, glass

Aluminum Oxide Products

Aluminum Oxide - Brown

Electrically fused from a mixture of bauxite, coal and iron borings. Brown aluminum oxide is tough and durable with great hardness.

Bonded and coated abrasive products made of brown aluminum oxide are suitable for grinding high tensile strength materials including carbon steel, malleable iron and other general ferrous alloys. Also used as refractory material and anti-slip material.

• Grit Range: 6-1200
• Applications: Steel grinding, bonded wheels, refractory materials

Aluminum Oxide - White

Electrically fused from Bayer alumina. White aluminum oxide has slightly higher hardness but lower toughness than brown aluminum oxide.

Used for fabrication of bonded and coated abrasive products for grinding steels with great hardness, such as high carbon steel, alloy steel, and high speed steel. In addition to abrasive applications, high-purity grades of white aluminum oxide are also used in precision casting, thermal spray coatings, and high-temperature ceramics.

• Grit Range: 12-600
• Applications: Hardened steel, alloy steel, precision casting

Aluminum Oxide - Blasting Media

High hardness, sharp, tenacious abrasive with stable chemical properties and excellent heat and corrosion resistance.

This sharp angular abrasive is fast cutting and silica free. It gives a matte finish or produces anchor patterns on most metal surfaces and can be used economically in closed system blasting.

• Various grit sizes available
• Applications: Surface preparation, anchor patterns, metal cleaning

Specialty Abrasives

Aluminum Zirconium Master Alloy

Aluminum 2.5% zirconium master alloy for grain refinement in aluminum-based alloys.

Addition of alloying elements like zirconium improves mechanical properties of aluminum, making it suitable for structural applications when properly heat-treated.

• Specs: 2.5% Zirconium composition
• Applications: Grain refinement, mechanical property improvement

Boron Carbide Powder

High performance abrasive material with chemical and physical properties similar to diamonds.

Nicknamed 'Black Diamond', boron carbide has become one of the leading grinding materials due to its extreme hardness and chemical resistance. Ceramic grades are available for industrial applications, with specialty grades used in neutron absorption applications.

• Specs: Hardness: Mohs 9.5
• Applications: Lapping, polishing hard materials, specialty applications

Anti-Slip & Floor Hardening Abrasives

Aluminum oxide in specific grit sizes for anti-slip surfaces and floor hardening applications.

Available in 100 lb bags for industrial flooring projects.

• Specs: 100 lb bags
• Applications: Floor hardening, anti-slip coatings, industrial flooring
